“Some days I feel like I am so far away from home, so far from where I intended to get to, but no matter… no matter where my gypsy soul wanders, inside my heart, I am home.
This is my light. Me and my light sailing over the blue sea. Alone sometimes, but never lonely. Today, I will say thank you to one person. Today, I will smile at someone I do not know, or who looks like they need a smile.
Today, I will forgive someone, even if I don’t say it directly to them. I will also forgive myself, with a gentle hug and lots of love.
Sometimes I feel pressured to play my part, to learn my lines, to crush it, but what is it?
Maybe home is not a place to get to or to travel, but it’s the light inside you to radiate to all those who want to see it. To see you, to share this energy. Don’t hide it or be afraid of it.
Don’t be afraid of what your home looks like. Tidy, untidy.
Share with everyone the sweet smell of magnolias, the sound of jazz, the smell of spice and cooking with love.
Share your home.”
